Six people who worked at a video shop have claimed trial to possession of 226 pirated DVDs worth about RM12,000. The offence was allegedly committed by the shop supervisor, counter worker, cashier, and three assistants at the shop at 10:30pm on 16 February 2007.
The Sessions Court judge granted three of them bail of RM8,000 in one surety each and the other three, who were Indonesian nationals, bail of RM10,000 each.
The case has been set for mention on 9 April 2007.
