Port Klang
Officers from the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Department of Selangor seized a container carrying 784 cartoons of imitation Pepsodent toothpaste at Northport on Thursday. The container was watched by them for three weeks before the importer was apprehended.
The toothpaste, estimated to be priced at RM40,000, appeared to be manufactured in Indonesia and was imported from China.
The case is being investigated under the Trade Description Act and the authorities are looking for the offender who endorsed the consignment.
