Two Indian nationals arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on seperate flights from Chennai on Wednesday morning. Customs officers found a total of RM800,000 worth of ketamine on them.

The first man, a 34-year-old, was arrested at 11:30am with 15kg of ketamine in 40 boxes in a bag. He was flying in from Singapore.

The second man, a 27-year-old, came in from Bangkok and was found with 27 single-kilogram packets of ketamine in two bags.

The packets were apparently labelled under a brand name "Pratikar", a top quality detergent found in India. The local market rate of the drug is between RM18,000 and RM20,000 per kilogram.

In both cases, there were no clothes in their bags at all.

Police believe they may be related and are investigating the cases under the Dangerous Drugs Act. If found guilty, the men face the death penalty.
