Five Men Robbed Metal Plates in Lorry

Five men armed with parangs had robbed a lorry loaded with metal plates at Taman Universiti at about 1am yesterday. The metal places were worth RM200,000.

The gang had tied and blindfolded the driver of the lorry and drove off in their car. The lorry was driven by one of them.

After four hours of driving, the lorry driver was thrown out along Jalan Pontian near the Pulai Spring Resort.

The driver later lodged a report at the Skudai police station. Police are looking for the robbers.
