Former CID director Datuk Fauzi Shaari's house in Section 7 was hit by two burglars on Monday night. The former Selangor chief police officer and his wife reached him at 11pm to find a gold diamond ring and two watches stolen. The items were valued at RM10,000.
The burglars were believed to be in the master bedroom when he and his family returned home. They had entered the house by breaking through the ceiling on the second floor and escaped by using a ladder through the same opening.
No arrests have been made.
