The Star newspaper reporter, Parven Kaur Gill, aged 30, was stopped by police at 3:29am on 28 January 2007. She has been charged for refusing to take a breathalyser test and faces up to a year's jail and a maximum fine of RM6,000.
Bail has been fixed at RM1,200 with one surety and trial on 27 September 2007.
