Slim River
The robbers who drove a silver Honda Civic had fired two shots in the grocery shop in Slim River New Village at 9:35pm on Wednesday. Shopkeeper Sinnappan, aged 61, and his son Thiagarajan, aged 26, were hit. Thiagarajan's mother, K. Nageswari, aged 51, was upstairs when the incident happened.
The robbers escaped with RM1,000 after firing the shots.
Police are investigating to determine if this robbery is related to another that occurred at Ulu Bernam.
