Ahmad Yahya Zainoon, aged 28 and a government health official has been acquitted of the charge of sodomising an 18-year-old man in Batu Uban at 5am on 16 October 2005.
The judge ruled the prosecution had failed to establish a prima facie case against Ahmad Yahya because the victim had given varying dates of the crime and the police and medical reports did not support his sodomy case.
