Sepang

Customs officers at the arrival area of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport were suspicious of two bags left unclaimed at the luggage carousel and found them to have contained 25kg of ketamine. The white powder drug was stored in multiple packets.

The incident happened at 2:30pm on 2 March 2007 when customs officers scanned the contents of the bags that was not picked up.

Customs believe that the owner of the bag might have decided not to pick up the bag and avoided being arrested for possession of drugs.

The drugs had a street value of RM1.3 million. No arrests have been made.
