Kuala Lumpur
Police believe that the woman who was found dead in a burnt MPV at a Tanjung Malim oil palm plantation on Tuesday was adbucted before she died. Tee Ah Kuai, aged 26, was found in the back seat of a Toyota Unser in Felda Suharto, Tanjung Malim. The supervisor of an eletronics store in Klang leaves behind a one-year-old daughter and 30-year-old husband.
Tee could have been abducted and her hands bound with rope after she dropped off three workers in Batu Arang at about noon that day. When she did not return to fetch them and did not answer calls to her mobile phone, the workers lodged a missing person's report.
Tee's family is waiting for at least 10 days before they can claim her remains as police are conducting DNA tests to confirm her identity.
