Batu Gajah
A rubber and oil palm processing factory owner and his driver were heading for his factory at 12:45pm when four robbers overtook the car near a school. The robbers were armed with a pistol and an axe.
The driver tried to reverse the car to escape, one robber fired a shot which hit the driver's left shoulder. They then broke the car's windscreen and took RM70,000 from the owner, which was just withdrawn from a bank.
