Police have detained a 40-year-old man for allegedly selling VCDs of former Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek having sex with an unidentified woman at a hotel in Batu Pahat. The suspect was carrying the discs in a bag and selling to customers at a food court in Taman Seri Tebrau on Friday at 6pm.
Being the third person arrested in connection with distributing the prohibited material, two VCDs were seized from him. It is believed that he was selling the discs at RM5 each.
The suspect will be released later this week.
