The defence counsel for accused Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri requested for early adjournment yesterday in court in order to find a telecommunications expert. In the High Court murder trial of Altantuya Shaariibuu, counsel J. Kuldeep Kumar said he needed an expert who had worked with Celcom Berhad to explain certain technicalities recently presented.
27-year-old Celcom information technology analyst Syed Mustaqim Syed Yusoff had been giving evidence for the past two days in court. The codes and dates which Celcom used were technical and would need some elaboration.
Justice Datuk Mohd Zaki Md Yassin adjourned the court earlier yesterday, reminding Syed Mustaqim to find a suitable person to explain the codes.
