14-month-old Hoo Wu Thon was found dead in his house in Taman Templer, Rawang, yesterday. His mother had returned home at 9am after sending her two other children to school.
The mother, only known as Ong, rushed the boy to the Selayang Hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police said the boy showed signs of abuse as there were bruises and swellings on his neck.
