Kuala Lumpur
61 Chinese nationals were arrested by police at a food court along Jalan Pasar yesterday for allegedly being involved in vice activities. Police also detained 16 men aged between 25 and 45.
14 of them were believed to be their customers and another 2 tried obstructed police from performing their duties. 6 of the women did not have valid passports while the rest had entered the country using social visit visas.
It is believed that the women would act as food court patrons but would offer sexual services at nearby hotels to male customers there. The food court has been raided 21 times last year for similar activities.
