27-year-old Syed Mustaqim Syed Yusoff told the court yesterday in the murder trial of Altantuya Shaariibuu that evidence presented earlier on accused Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri's prepaid SIM card was inaccurate. The information technology analyst from Celcom made the admission because he said he was unfamiliar with the prepaid system.
Syed Mustaqim admitted this to counsel J. Kuldeep Kumar, who is representing Azilah. Judge Datuk Mohd Zaki Md Yasin showed his frustration by saying that he "just want to know if the phone transactions were made and received at the said locations."
Yesterday, he shared the flow of call data from the Mobile Switching Centre or the Intelligent Network, to the mediation system and then to the prepaid or postpaid system. He also explained certain technicalities of the scripting of the programme, the programme itself and the mobile network system.
Hearing continues today.
