The man responsible for the jewellery heist on Sunday is also wanted for murder, arm robbery and rioting in Negri Sembilan, Kuala Lumpur and Johor. Police has warned that 32-year-old M. Jayakumar, alias Jegan, has used firearms for all the cases and is considered dangerous.
Police had raided a house in Port Dickson last year and detained a man and four women, one of whom is believed to be the suspect's wife. They also found a Styer assault rifle, two Glock pistols, a .32 pistol, 609 rounds of ammunition and face masks.
Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts is advised to report to the police. His last known residence is Bukit Beruntung in Rawang, Selangor and has tattoos on the right arm and chest.
