Wong Ah Fong, aged 64, was stabbed to death by two robbers early morning when he was going to a mobile vendor to buy vegetables. Several people in the Taman Tampoi area were alerted by his cries at about 6:35am. He was found in a drain and sent to a private hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The men were on a motorcycle when they approached the retired retired construction worker. One of them got off and stabbed Wong's stomach three times before robbing him. His wallet was found nearby the crime scene.
