Ismail Harun, a 64-year-old man who used to make kites for a living, has been found guilty at the Ampang Sessions Court of sodomising a five-year-old boy in Kampung Seri Lembah Keramat on 12 June 2002. He has been sentenced to 7 years' jail but spared of caning due to his age.
The boy had been playing outside Ismail's house when he invited him into his living room where he was sodomised. The boy's friend saw the crime and reported it to the victim's mother.
