Miri
A 33-year-old magistrate from Pahang serving at the Miri Court Complex has been found dead on the floor of a Miri city motel room that he has been staying for the past few months. The motel is only 300 metres from his workplace.
Khairul Yunus Jamil's body was discovered by a visiting court staff after the magistrate was on sick leave for the past week. He had complained of feeling unwell before then.
Police has not given any indication of cause of death.
The body has been placed at the Miri Hospital mortuary, where the post-mortem would be conducted.
