George Town
A security guard who stole more than RM300,000 from several banks on Friday apparently joined the Butterworth-based security company using another person's driving license.
The guard, known by others as "Abang Mat" and two other guards went to a bank in Lebuh Downing at about 10:45am. Abang Mat waited in the van while the two went into the bank. 15 minutes later, the two guards found the van and Abang Mat missing. The van was later found in Taman Selat, Butterworth, empty.
