On last Thursday and Friday, RM75,000 worth of karaoke, computer and snooker equipment were seized from a karaoke shoplot in Pasir Tumboh and a snooker centre in Taman Koperasi. They have been closed down since they have no operating permits.
Two cybercafes in Taman Desa Kemumin and Pasir Tumboh were also affected as they allowed children under 12 years of age to patronize. The children were released after some questioning.
