S. Suresh, aged 31, an ASP police officer, has been charged with four counts of assault. The court has charged him for allegedly assaulting engineer N. Sathia and yard manager S. Siva Kumar at the Brickfields police headquarters on December 26 2005. He also caused hurt to the same persons at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail police station on the same day.
Suresh posted the RM3,000 bail and his case will be due for mention on April 2 2007.
