Ipoh
A stake out was held at the Ipoh Garden area by the police, looking for a drug suspect. They spotted a man waiting in a car matching the description from a tip-off.
A police officer approached the car and called the suspect to step out of the vehicle. When the suspect refused to comply and tried to ram the officer, the officer veered off and fired two shots at the car's tyres. The suspect then reversed his car into two police vehicles and several other cars before escaping onto the main road.
Police later found the car abandoned by the North-South Expressway before the Simpang Pulai exit. Four packets believed to contain ecstasy, syabu and ketamine have been found inside it.
