Flower shop owner Tengku Auvaroza Tengku Abraham says that her shop had been broken into more than 30 times since 2004, while the latest incident happened yesterday. It is estimated that it caused RM200,000 of losses.
Although she has made many police reports, she claims that the police has visited her shop only several times.
Tengku Auvaroza suspects the burglars are possibly some youths drunk or high on glue who loiter in the area. When she once employed a security guard, he quit after gotten beaten up during one of the break-ins.
