Kedah police have detained two businessmen on 22 August 2007 in connection with the murder of Padang Serai MCA Youth vice-chairman Ching Eng Wah. They shall be remanded until 29 August 2007 to assist in police investigations.
Ching was shot point blank by two men on a motorcycle when his vehicle was at the traffic light junction of Jalan Padang Serai in Padang Serai at 8am on 17 August 2007. His wife, Low Mui Keow, was seated next to him.
