Possibly More Than One Person Involved in Body Parts Murder

4 August 2007
Kuala Lumpur

City CID chief Senior Asst Comm (II) Ku Chin Wah said that the 33-year-old woman from Sarawak who was arrested for the murder of the 39-year-old Goh Yoke Seng from Singapore has confessed to the crime. However, police believe that there could be more than one person responsible for the chopping of the man into 11 pieces and stuffed into the refrigerator of a condominium unit in Mont Kiara.

DNA tests have confirmed the identity of the victim by matching blood samples from Goh's mother and brother in Johor Baru. Ku revealed that the murder weapon had been found but would not say if the woman, who was Goh's wife, had stayed at the condominium after Goh was murdered. The two were married since 2002 but have had no children.
