Kuala Lumpur
Two police officers who arrested a transvestite on 23 October 2007 at 2am for allegedly offering sexual services in Kampung Baru have been detained for alleged graft. A 46-year-old assistant superintendent and 48-year-old sergeant were arrested by Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) officers yesterday at 4:15pm.
They had allegedly demanded RM2,000 from the victim as an inducement for them not to take any action. The victim made a report with the ACA. ACA officers prepared a trap for them when the victim was about to hand over the cash to one of them at a police station.
