A woman who was from Penang and living in Seremban was abducted, sexually assaulted and slashed before she was stripped naked and dumped by the Subang Ria lake to die.
Some morning joggers were alerted by her groaning sounds and found her in a pool of blood by the lakeside. She had slash wounds all over her naked body and her left hand was fractured.
The police and an ambulance from the Universiti Malaya Medical Specialist Centre arrived at the scene. She was sent to the medical centre where she was in critical but stable condition. She managed to give her name and her family's contact number before she became unconscious.
Police tried in vain to contact her family using the number as no one answered.
