The 15-year-old who allegedly stabbed a 7-seven-old boy to death over the latter's harassment of his chickens has been remanded for one week to assist police investigations. The Islamic religious school and Form Three student was ordered to be sent to a juvenile detention centre in Port Klang yesterday.
The victim, Mohamad Kahirul Nizam Riza Azmi Kahirul, bled to death from stab wounds made with a glass shard. He was allegedly tied up and stabbed by the teenager at an abandoned house along Jalan Kiyai Sujuk 17, Taman Seri Wangi, Kapar, on Friday afternoon.
It is believed that the suspect suffers from fits and had another attack after he was arrested. He was sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for medical assistance.
Police were interviewing the other 7-year-old neighbour of the victim, Mohd Hafid Ridjai Ridwan, who alerted neighbours during the attack.
