The woman, who was among the five arrested on Thursday, has been released a few hours after police have taken her statement. The men have been remanded for seven days to aid police investigations, one of them is the woman's husband, a tailor shop owner.

Police raided a shoplot in Section 7, Shah Alam, on Thursday and arrested a few of them in connection with the kidnap and murder of 8-year-old Nurin Jazlin Jazimin. Two of them were arrested in Kampung Kuantan, Klang, on Friday.

The suspects were brought to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital yesterday at 9:20am for DNA tests. It is believed that police are trying to find a connection with the suspects and the hair strands found in the sports bag where Nurin's naked body was found.

The female suspect was said to be pregnant and one of the male suspects is a car salesman.
