A 37-year-old female remiser and her 3-year-old son were found murdered in their Sri Manja Courts apartment along Jalan Klang Lama. Their bodies were discovered by her husband who returned home from work at 9:30pm.
The bodies were lying in one of the bedrooms; the woman's mouth was torn and there were bruises on her face and body while the boy's right ear was cut and his neck slashed. A knife, believed to be the murder weapon, was found.
There was no signs of any break-in to the apartment but there were footsteps covered in blood.
