A third-floor shoplot in Medan Fettes was raided on Sunday at 7:30pm as it contained a fitness centre used for gay sex parties. During the raid, a party was ongoing and 34 men, aged between 22 and 55 years, were arrested.
Police seized 7 tubes of lubrication jelly, 20 gay magazines, 4 pornographic VCDs and 6 boxes of condoms. Three staff of the premises were also remanded.
The suspects had their statements taken at the Patani Road police station and released. The raid was part of a police operation codenamed Ops Bersih to combat vice activities.

The police should be ashamed of themselves. I imagine that the owner of this establishment had fallen behind with his payments to the local police, and so they felt the need to make an example of him to their other 'clients'.
ReplyDeleteSadly, the Malaysian police are rapidly going down the road of police in Thailand and certain other countries, where hypocrisy rules, and justice is only for those who are able to pay.
Do these officers of the law think that God does not see their actions? Malaysia may aspire to live by Islamic principles, but the reality is that citizens are just human beings who, in their private lives, are no better or worse than those in any other place. When will this be understood by the 'do-gooders' of this society.
Hi anonymous
ReplyDeleteThere are various parties to be blamed here, leading to several problems that need to be resolved.
We can only pray for them to happen and not follow their deeds.
Thanks for your fervent comment.
