Ramli Suspended from Police Force

After he claimed trial for charges against him under the Anti-Corruption Act, Commercial Crimes Investigation Department director Datuk Ramli Yusoff has been suspended from the force indefinitely. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said it is normal procedure for officers charged with corruption.

Ramli's case is also handled by the police disciplinary committee. Her received his suspension letter at 3:30pm yesterday.

On Thursday, Ramli, the third highest ranking police officer, also claimed trial to two counts of failing to declare assets worth RM1 million and a third count for being involved in business while still in service.
