CyberSecurity's Malaysia digital forensic department head Aswami Fadillah Mohd Ariffin continued his testimony yesterday in the High Court trial of Altantuya Shaariibuu, who was brutally murdered last year.
He said that he analysed the mobile phone calls and text messages from 12 mobile phones and 12 SIM cards, which were from political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda, Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri, Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar, Azilah's former girlfriend, Lance Corporal Rohaniza Roslan, private investigators P. Balasubramaniam and Suras Kumar, Altantuya and DSP Musa Mohd Safri.
The communications were made between 17 and 21 October 2006 and showed links between Balasubramaniam and Razak, Rohaniza and Azilah, and Azilah and Musa.
Records were also furnished by the telecommunication companies, but the ones from DiGi did not include the text messages. Aswami also showed information which were provided by the companies but not found in the phones. He explained that this was possibly because the data on the phones were erased or replaced.
Hearing continues on Monday.
