On Wednesday in the court trial of murder victim Altantuya Shaariibuu, senior forensics digital analyst Mohd Zabri Aidil Talib said that 12 images where extracted from the Kota Damansara toll plaza closed-circuit television camera (CCTV) showing accused Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar's 4WD vehicle.
The CCTV footage was captured on a tape which was given to him by investigating officer ASP Tonny Lunggan on 11 June 2006. 28-year-old Mohd Zabri said Lunggan asked him to trace the vehicle using four time stamps. The times were between 7:14am 19 October 2006 to 12:01am 20 October 2006. The timings were based on Azhar's Touch 'n Go card records.
Mohd Zabri said he could not find Azhar's vehicle at those times but found them slightly off. He said the vehicle captured was a Suzuki Jimny with the registration number CAC1883.
Hearing continues on Monday.
