Sri Manja Double Murder Killer Could Be Known to Victims

In the double murder case on Monday night, police found no signs of forced entry into the apartment, and the apartment was not ransacked. No valuables nor cash were taken from the apartment. Police could not find any fingerprints from the crime scene.

37-year-old remiser Koo May Ling's face was mutilated and there were several stab wounds on her body. Her 3-year-old son, Foo Jin Cheong, had two slash wounds on his head, one of them behind his ear.

It is believed that the murder weapon was a knife that was brought by the killer. Its handle was found near Koo's body while the blade was in her back. Police believe that the killer was known to the victims and are appealing for anyone with information to assist them.

Koo's husband, Foo Ji Hong, found the bodies at 9:50pm when he returned to the apartment unit of the Sri Manja condominium in Taman Sri Manja.
