51-year-old Tan Keng Seng was having drinks with a friend at a temple near Sri Wangsa Apartments off Perak Lane when a motorcyclist and a pillion rider rode past and fired several shots at him. The 51-year-old sub-contractor was hurt and died at Penang Hospital at 8pm yesterday.
Tan died from the multiple gunshot wounds, but his friend was not hurt.
Police found three slugs and four bullet casings at the scene and are looking for both suspects involved in the ride-by shooting.
