The 36-year-old teacher who was kidnapped two weeks ago by three armed men was freed unharmed in Labis last Friday at 3:30pm. Her politician husband had paid the kidnappers over RM100,000 to free her.
The victim was abducted along Jalan Pasar on 27 August 2007 at 7am when she was about to leave for school with her 8-year-old son. The men, armed with parangs, pulled over and forced them into their car. The boy managed to escape back into the house to alert his 42-year-old father.
After she was released at an undisclosed location, the teacher managed to find her way back home. She went for a medical checkup and police have set up a special task force to find the kidnappers.
