Penang MCA Helping to Search for Shearwey

About 1,000 MCA members have joined in the search for the missing girl, 3-year-old Shearwey Ooi Ying Ying, giving out posters to the public. Her 28-year-old mother, Jess Teh, was at the Penang MCA's press conference was accompanied by her father, Teh Tatt Beng, aged 52.

Both of them were in tears as they asked the public for any clues of the whereabouts of Shearwey. Jess said that her daughter was wearing pyjamas with teddy bear prints and pink slippers.

National Wanita head Datuk Ng Yen Yen said 10,000 flyers have been distributed in Bayan Baru and other areas of Penang. Bayan Baru Welfare Association chairman Datuk Wong Kam Hoong has raised a RM10,000 reward for anyone with information leading to Shearwey's safe return.

Police are searching the southwest areas for any signs of Shearwey.
