The new owner of a luxury condominium unit in Mont Kiara made a gruesome find when he opened the door of a refrigerator there yesterday. A body of an unidentified man was cut into 11 pieces and placed in five black garbage bags inside.
The owner, in his 30s, said he found the body when he went to clean the 19th floor apartment unit, which he said had been vacant for more than three months. He had received the keys to the unit on Friday.
When he opened the apartment door, he detected a strong smell and alerted the security guards. They found the body in the refrigerator sealed with masking tape.
Police believe that the body had been there for a week and found a photocopy of a driving licence of one Nora Jawi Spreen Jawi with the address USJ2/4D Subang Jaya.
