Muhammad Radzi Zainol Abidin, aged 26, and Mohd Shehimi Sharil, aged 53, are the two Customs officers who were charged together with corruptly receiving a RM500 bribe from Nor Azlan Nordin at midnight on 9 November 2004. They also solicited another RM500 from the same victim at 12:55am on two days later.
The officers had raided a retail stall where Nor Azlan was selling contraband cigarettes.
The judge set bail at RM4,000 in one surety for each of them and fixed 26 November 2007 for the hearing.
